His little hooves make the crunchy sound the Bubs loves SOOOO much, his belly squeaks when you press it, he has two rings dangling from his butt that the Bubs loves to hold on to and bite, and the antlers, OH THE ANTLERS!, not too hard, not too soft, PERFECT to give those little aching gums some relief! We do not leave the house without him! Nothing has seemed to help ease his teething pain like this. Since Mortimer has joined our family we haven't had to use the baby orajel nearly as much, some days not at all. Mortimer was a gift from my sister Kathryn, she calls the Bubs Gus Gus, and there is absolutely no reason why, besides the fact that my son's real name is Gavin and also starts with a G? I digress. If you are as lucky as me to have both sides of your family have shore houses then you know it <span style="font-style:italic;">is</span> impossible. Last year I got away with no bathing suit as no one would dare ask the girl who recently miscarried why she didn't want to go frolic in the surf. But on a positive note I used my lunch hour to take a walk and just finished getting my ass handed to me by the one and only Jillian Michaels.<br />I realized I forgot to post my "starting stats" so here they are:<br />Height: 5'3"<br />Current Weight: 189<br />Goal Weight: I actually don't care what the scale reads as long as I can fit into the Aqua Delight (aka my bridesmaid dress) for my brother in law's wedding on May 1. It is high time I lose the baby weight. Not so much because I don't fit into most of my pre pregnancy clothes that I love and cost me a small fortune to amass, but because my husband's brother is getting married May 1, and guess who has to fit into a skin tight aqua dress? Here's a hint, it's me. I work best under pressure anyway. I'll post a pic soon so you can witness the deflated version of what was once my body!
